Ceile Hour with Miriah O'Shea, Every Sunday, 8-9pm

I’m a proud Roscommon man and hail from the village of Granlahan. I’ve been involved in radio full-time since 1989 and thoroughly enjoy working on the midwestirishradio.com service.
Over the years I’ve presented, produced and directed many programmes on Midwest Radio and I have a keen interest in both music and the spoken word. I still passionately believe that radio – in all its various forms – is still the most powerful communication mechanism of all.
Midwestirishradio.com has proven to be a highly successful internet station and the fact that so many people with no Irish connection of any description tune in every day is testament to the popularity and appeal that the various genres of Irish music has on people all over the world.
The service is now more than just a radio station. The friendships that have been formed between listeners and presenters at the station is growing by the day and I’m convinced that in the years ahead this service will get even more popular. It’s all about communication and as we always say its by word of mouth the service will continue to expand”.
